Ever just look at a calendar and wonder where the year has gone? I can't believe it's already the middle of September. Soon it's gonna be Christmas and then 2010.

It appears having daughters first is a trend for my family's generation. With Sarah having her daughter on September 7 and Anna having had her daughter in August of last year, that makes three of the four of us starting off with girls. Only Kerrie started with a boy. Anna and Sarah gave their daughters each others middle names, which was sweet, so I taunted Kerrie for not giving one of her boys my middle name (since Abbie's middle name is Kerrie's middle name, as well as a few other Stewart ladies in my family).

I scheduled my last week of vacation for the year in the middle of August. I re-up on November 24 so it's use it or lose it. We're hoping to head back to St. George's Island again. Abbie has been clamoring for the beach ever since the last time we went in August. The weather should hopefully still be pretty nice then, and she mostly just stomps in the shallow water and looks for shells. My hope is to eventually go back to New Jersey for a vacation someday, but money is so tight right now. With the down economy, I haven't gotten a raise in over two years, and the company hasn't made a profit sharing goal in well over a year, though if we can beat goal this month we might see profit sharing checks in October. Anything extra would be nice.

Abbie hasn't been feeling well. Actually, neither has Gloria or myself. The weird changes in the weather has us out of whack. Actually, I've had a low, throbbing headache for two weeks or so now. Nothing serious, just annoying.
